TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) embraced an integrated approach to transform the forest at Yishun into a dynamic living space by realising the full potential of using natural waterways as part of the region’s holistic beauty.

TAC’s team of wildlife, ecology and environment professionals were responsible for conducting a biodiversity study to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment. With the site being a forested zone housing a rich diversification of species, a portion was designated to be kept as part of a nature park area. TAC recommended measures to ensure that future infrastructure and development works would not adversely affect sensitive fauna, particularly due to the generation of noise and dust from work activities. Trainings were also conducted on the biodiversity issues pertaining to the project, including species found at the project site, the importance of biodiversity conservation, and ways to avoid human-wildlife conflict to spruce up the environmental awareness of key personnel. Our services enabled our client to conduct their project in a manner that is sensitive to our fauna biodiversity, thus moving towards fulfilling UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 15: Life on Land.
