TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was appointed to provide Mandatory Packaging Reporting (MPR) advisory services for a total industrial solutions provider based in Singapore. This Client deals with the packaging of imported goods that are sold both locally and overseas.

The MPR was introduced as part of the nation-wide waste management policy to kickstart Singapore’s trajectory towards Circular Economy. This policy has brought businesses’ attention to waste resource management and solutions, such as preparing a waste management approach, measuring 3R (Reducing waste, Reusing and Recycling resources) performance, and navigating associated risks and circular opportunities.

The project scope includes guiding the Client through the challenges of meeting requirements set out in the MPR policy and providing advice on how to prepare the necessary information required for the report submission. Through this service, TAC supports our Client in their transition to circularity, a crucial step towards preventing the worst effects of climate breakdown and resource scarcity.
