TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) has been engaged by an air conditioning solutions provider to provide advisory services in fulfilling NEA’s Mandatory Packaging Reporting (MPR) requirements. The regulation requires affected companies to report their primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging which have been put into the Singapore market. This will help to lay the foundation for Singapore’s transition towards an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework for packaging waste management by 2025. TAC will assist the Client in understanding reporting requirements, provide a method of collecting and presenting packaging data, recommend strategies and solutions in creating a packaging 3R plan, and meet NEA submission requirements. This project showcases TAC’s efforts in assisting businesses in transitioning towards circular economy, thus establishing a zero-waste nation in Singapore and fulfilling UN SDG 12: Sustainable Consumption and Production.
