TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was appointed by a developer to conduct indoor noise monitoring for the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) clearance for a 2,500 m2 brand-new residential development. The work included identifying areas most exposed to traffic noise and continuous monitoring to ensure that indoor noise levels were within acceptable levels. Noise monitoring was carried out at multiple levels in naturally ventilated conditions to ensure that the results are representative of the entire building. TAC assessed the noise levels and assisted in consultations with authorities for the client to obtain the TOP clearance successfully.
