TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was engaged to provide environmental consulting services for installation of a communication system in several sites at Mandai. These sites are part of the Mandai Rejuvenation Project (MRP), which covers 35.4 hectares.

The MRP is adjacent to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve which is known to be ecologically sensitive. Hence, TAC’s role as an environmental consultant is critical in ensuring that the installation works do not adversely affect sensitive fauna, particularly due to the generation of noise and dust. TAC’s team of ecologists and environmental consultants recommended measures to be implemented and conducted regular site visits to ensure the measures are effective in reducing the impacts. Throughout the project duration, the EMMP was adapted in an iterative process.

Our services enabled our client to conduct their project in an environmentally sensitive manner, thus moving towards fulfilling UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 15: Life on Land.
