Recently, the National Parks Board launched guidelines for conducting Biodiversity Impact Assessments (BIAs) for development projects in Singapore. These provide guidance for industry professionals and developers in fulfilling the biodiversity component when conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
We at TEMBUSU Asia Consulting are encouraged by the news and believe that this is an important step for the continued conservation of biodiversity in Singapore. It is our commitment to working towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including the preservation of Life on Land and Life Below Water, key components of the SDGs that are sometimes overlooked in developments.
You can read more about the Guideline in NParks‘ website.
