After much anticipation, TEMBUSU Asia Consulting is happy to announce our next GRI Standards Certified Training Course with GRI Standards 2021 update, which is scheduled to be conducted from 15th to 17th & 23rd February 2022! It has been enhanced with additional exclusive materials on reporting with Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The training is a part of our efforts to fulfill and propel the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and augment sustainability expertise in the region.

Sustainability Reports are useful in many ways; they prove to be an effective tool to measure, manage, and improve organizational performance and protect an organization’s reputation while showcasing a business’ environmental, economic, and social performance.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has pioneered sustainability reporting since the late 1990s. GRI is an international independent standards organization that helps businesses, governments, and other organizations understand and communicate their impacts on important issues such as climate change, human rights, and corruption. More than 80% of the world’s leading reporters use the GRI Standards as the framework for developing their sustainability reports due to the Standards’ modular and interrelated structure, which provides useful step-by-step guidance on communicating organisations’ sustainability performance.

The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) is a framework developed by the TCFD to help public companies and organizations more effectively disclose climate-related risks and opportunities through their existing reporting processes, in order to increase and improve the reporting of climate-related disclosures. In Singapore, the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) has now made it mandatory for stock issuers to make climate-related disclosure in their sustainability reports, in line with the recommendations of the TCFD.

This training program will be delivered by experienced sustainability advisors who have vast and wide-ranging experience in developing the best-in-class reports, conducting training, and auditing leading sustainability reports in Singapore, ASEAN, Australia, and South Asia.
