Tuas Desalination Plant (Singapore)

The desalination plant was constructed under a design, build, own and operate (DBOO) model. With a daily capacity of up to 30 million gallons (130,000 m3) of water. The plant is designed to supply water over a 20-year period. The Environmental Impact Assessment included detailed assessment of water quality and ecological impacts associated with plant construction and operation.
