Dr Thomas Tang (Hong Kong)
Sustainability consultant with over 25 years of experience on urban development and environmental issues in Asia including climate change, waste, water and energy management. Previously the regional sustainability director for AECOM, he worked on resilient cities using the UN’s disaster risk reduction tools as well as overseeing and conducting sustainability assessments throughout the region for major engineering and development projects and writing corporate sustainability reports for power, real estate, government and waste sectors. Between 2004 and 2008. He was an advisor to the Council for Sustainable Development in Hong Kong. Prior to this he worked as a management consultant for the PA Consulting Group. Skills include green and low carbon design, stakeholder engagement, social capacity building and policy research.
