Chan Mun Wei
Mun Wei started out his career as a management executive in Singapore Airlines. For more than 20 years, he has worked in Singapore in the private and public sectors in various capacities, and has experience in functional areas such as sustainability, strategy, policy and planning, data analytics, risk management, operations, sales, marketing and investment promotion.
From 2009 to 2018, he was the Divisional Director of Corporate Planning at Sentosa Development Corporation, which is the government agency that develops and manages Sentosa as an international leisure and tourism destination. His accomplishments included developing and implementing the Sentosa Sustainability Plan along environmental, social and governance dimensions; integrating Sentosa’s future land-use with key strategic drivers such as guest experience and sustainability; and formulating a long-term visitorship model.
Mun Wei graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Master of Arts in Education, and subsequently completed a MBA at the National University of Singapore.
